Administrative Assistant


Hall Implement Company, Southern Maine’s only independent John Deere dealer since 1961, is seeking a candidate to fill an Administrative Assistant position at our dealership in Windham, Maine.

The IDEAL candidate should excel in a fast-paced environment, work well with others, have a great attitude, love helping customers, be eager to learn, is proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook), have basic accounting and general ledger knowledge, and have prior administrative experience in a dealership setting.

Some duties include (but are not limited to):

Answer phones and direct calls to the appropriate department.

Receive in new equipment.

Prepare and mail out monthly billing.

Contact customers to schedule equipment pickups and deliveries.

Manage receivables and payables.

Cash handling.

We would love to have somebody on board who has previous administrative experience, especially in another John Deere or competitive manufacturer dealership setting, however we are definitely willing to train the right person.

Benefits include company sponsored health, vision and dental insurance plans, 401k saving with company match, paid time off and more. Pay range $22-26 per hour, and is based on previous experience.
