Hall Implement Company, Southern Maine’s only independent John Deere dealer since 1961, is seeking a candidate to fill a Small Engine Technician position at our dealership in Windham, Maine.
The IDEAL candidate should excel in a fast-paced environment without compromising the quality of their work, work well independently as well as with others, mechanically inclined, eager to learn, has prior experience with small engine repair, and has their own tools.
Some duties include (but are not limited to):
Work on John Deere lawn and garden tractors, Ariens snowblowers, and Echo power tools.
Perform routine maintenance items like fluid and filter changes, sharpen blades, etc…
Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, chassis, deck and snowblower issues.
Log time and make appropriate notes for billing and service writers.
Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
We would love to have somebody on board who has previous service experience, especially in another John Deere or competitive manufacturer dealership setting, however we are definitely willing to train the right person.
Benefits include company sponsored health, vision and dental insurance plans, 401k saving with company match, paid time off and more. Pay range $22-28 per hour, and is based on previous experience.
